My skin itches, like I've gotten some kind of rash but there's nothing visible on my skin for the most part. The itching seems to be mostly spread across my neck and my collar bones and my arms. That's the only place there seems to be any sort of rash -- my arms are flaky and peeling, a bit like a sunburn.

This can't be how fur grows, can it?

Well... it sounds really familiar. Though there was definitely visible fur after I actually stopped and looked at my skin. The flaking doesn't sound right either.

HAVE you been out in the sun? It's fog today so it SHOULDN'T be bugging you right now but... some monsters can't be in the sun at all.

I've been out shopping, but that's mostly it -- and I covered up my arms since I didn't think they were particularly pleasant to look at with all the peeling. They started to itch and peel before I left the house, but

Hm, actually, come to think of it... I suppose I was a bit uncomfortable outside. I put it down to the weather, but... that little sunlight can't be the problem, surely.

That still sounds weird... I guess we have no choice but to wait until the fog leaves. Then we'll know for sure.

Anything else weird? Have you been safe? Do you need any supplies?

I'm doing fine, for the most part. I've been staying with some in exchange for doing errands and caring for the house for them, but I'm planning to leave before the fog lifts. I'm not sure what sort of... thing I'm going to turn into and I don't want to make a mess of the house when she's been so kind to me. I'd rather not frighten her either if the change really is that dramatic.

This whole situation is strange... but I suppose that's something I'll have to get used to now that I'm here.

That's probably a good idea. Just be careful, okay? Some of the natives have been transforming now too for some reason. My brother got attacked by his boss.
