I think you're asking the wrong question. The real concern is: does it bother you that it might be new?

Wanting to protect your home and family is not a bad thing. If it's elevated because of this place does that negate the fact that you feel it?

I will admit, there are moments I stop and wonder similar things. Less in aggression but there are other things I find myself doing that are odd and not truly human.

But to focus on it for too long will only lead you to madness. As long as you are able to maintain your humanity and tame the beast's urges then you can make them work for you instead of against you.

If it helps if I find those thieves you might have to rush to get a chance at them before I'm done.

And it does help a little. I'm glad Karamatsu has a friend who'd feel that way about him here.

Anyway does that sort of protective urge sound like either animal to you? I don't really have experience with wolves or bears outside of what I've seen on tv.

Honestly I have more experience with bears then wolves, but both are very protective of their kin and territory.

I would ask if you feel compelled to stay with a group but considering you have your brothers here that won't be much help. I know bears are known to be aggressively protective, especially of their cubs. Seems until you change more we are at an impasse.

There is nothing quite like fighting off a few bears over a comb- makes the tea afterwards all the sweeter in my opinion, but rather inconvenient first thing in the morning.

Regardless, considering your family I wouldn't be *surprised* if it's wolf. The Fog seems to have a taste for the ironic.

Yes? Though mostly just the smaller ones. The woods near by home ^f have ^f were always full of monsters. Bears and goblins, mostly. Nothing too impressive.
