I didn't know. I've heard that people go back home when they disappear, but I didn't know they could stay dead. No one told me we revive when I first got here either.

When my friend got taken and

tortured and hacked apart, when I got a part of him, I carried it in one of my clothes from home. I thought I should bury it, I didn't want to give it up to anyone, I thought he was gone for good.

I got treated like an idiot for being so torn up over it, like I was being overdramatic.

But that person also told me he wasn't dead. I was so glad when I found out he was alive, I hugged him.

The way he put it made it sound like no one dies for real, ever. The people who disappear, some of them come back, but don't remember what happened, but people say they go back home.
